Email authentication helps receiving systems evaluate whether a message is authorized to use your domain. It does not guarantee inbox placement.
What to do
- List every service sending mail for your domain, including cPanel, website forms, newsletters and external business email.
- Open cPanel Email Deliverability to inspect the suggested SPF and DKIM records for cPanel-hosted mail.
- Publish the needed records at the authoritative DNS provider. Combine authorized SPF senders into one valid SPF policy rather than adding competing SPF records.
- Plan DMARC alignment, reporting and enforcement with JIJ before adopting a restrictive policy, especially when several services send mail.
Good to know
A policy copied from another domain can reject legitimate messages. Keep marketing subscriptions and sending volume within provider limits.
