A planning estimate helps you explore likely costs. A formal quote states the proposed work and price for a reviewed scope. Neither a service-finder recommendation nor a questionnaire submission places a paid order.
Planning estimates
The website questionnaire combines the selections it can price into an estimated range. Additional requirements, third-party charges and work needing investigation may remain outside that range. Directory ranges are starting allowances for the stated scope, not fixed checkout prices. Service-finder suggestions are alternatives and starting points, not a required bundle.
Working drafts
JIJ may prepare an internal draft while refining deliverables, assumptions, timing and price. Drafts are not client-ready offers and do not appear in the client’s formal quote list. If a quote returns to Draft for revision, its request returns to review unless the request was already closed.
Reviewing your formal quote
- Open Quotes & Project Requests as the account owner, or use the quote access instructions JIJ provides.
- Check the deliverables, revisions, responsibilities, exclusions, validity period, price, taxes and any recurring services.
- Ask questions before accepting if the scope or price needs a change. A quote is not automatically revised by changing an earlier questionnaire.
- Review the native quote acceptance and billing instructions carefully. Accepting a formal quote may create an invoice; it is a separate step from sending a project request. Follow the agreed payment arrangements before work begins.
Separate costs
Hosting, website care, domain registration, paid software, provider usage and payment-processing charges are separate unless your proposal expressly includes them. An hourly service order has its own stated unit price and scheduling arrangements. Review the checkout total and billing term before placing any order.
Changes after agreement
Request additions or scope changes in writing. JIJ will confirm the effect on deliverables, cost and schedule before the additional work is agreed. Use your project request for scope information or a support ticket for account assistance.
